This project will: Organize school sensitization sessions on disability inclusion Train teachers in special education techniques and classroom support Create radio/TV and social media campaigns to educate the public Promote acceptance through storytelling and child ambassador programs Impact: This campaign will help break myths, encourage empathy, and open doors for children with CP to learn and thrive in their communities
Mobility and Assistive Device Support Initiative Objective: To provide children and youth with cerebral palsy access to mobility aids and devices that support independence. Overview: This project addresses the lack of access to essential tools like wheelchairs, walkers, and orthotics. YOA will: Distribute donated and custom-made mobility aids Partner with orthopedic specialists to assess needs Train caregivers on safe usage and maintenance Launch a “Device Bank” for equipment borrowing and recycling Impact: With the right assistive tools, individuals with CP can attend school, participate in community life, and regain confidence.
Early Intervention Therapy Program for Children with Cerebral Palsy Objective: To provide early diagnosis, therapy, and parental education for children with cerebral palsy between ages 0–5. Overview: This project ensures that children showing early signs of cerebral palsy receive the care they need as soon as possible. The foundation will: Partner with hospitals to screen babies and toddlers Offer free or subsidized physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy Train parents on at-home exercises and supportive care Create community therapy hubs in low-income areas Impact: Early intervention greatly improves a child's ability to move, communicate, and learn — setting the foundation for a more independent life..
